August Book Group 2007

We have three great books again for you all this month.

No Humans Involved - Kelley Armstrong (another fav author)

The Hound of the Baskervilles - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The Secret Garden - Frances Hodgson Burnett

I’m really looking forward to the No Humans Involved discussion (which is the only one I can make it to this month :( ) as I read the book when it came out in May and as I said, Kelley is a favourite author. This book is interesting as it is all about Jaime Vegas this time. I like her, and I think it will be good for her to have her own book and for us all to get to know her a little better. Also Jeremy will feature in the book too, and that can’t be bad. As an added bonus Kelley Armstrong will be joining us for the discussion and to answer any questions we may have!!!

Birthday Book Group - July 2007

This month in our scheduled discussions, we are reading the following books:

The Three Musketeers - Alexandre Dumas

Something from the Nightside - Simon R Green

I’m really pleased to be finally able to feature a Simon R Green book in the book group. Lord knows I’ve been trying long enough lol, since October 2005 to be exact lol. But now we finally got enough interest that it made the cut - yay! :D I really hope it goes well and everyone enjoys it, it really is a fun series and SRG is a greatl gifted author. Oh yeah and I even get to host this one - life is good. :)

These groups continue all month so there is plenty of time to join in and chat about them.
