Well today I put some finishing touches to my first message board. I’d never tried anything like that before and I found it really interesting experience.
Of course the first time I tried to change something, everything went pear-shaped and I got some weird parsing error that locked me out of my MB and I broke out in a cold sweat LOL Luckily the people at xsorbit have live chat help so I just had 20 minutes to wait until they opened and were able to help me while I was talking to them 
After that it was easy. I changed all the layout to my favourite ‘black’ and purple and put a nice animated header on the top.
As I said at the beginning, it’s not a MB in the usual sense of the word, because people don’t really come there to hang out and chat. They come to shop for new ‘clothes’ (banners) to put under their signatures on other MBs.
So I opened little shops for those people who were making the banners and put up little shop signs that you can click on to enter the shops and then see all the banners on display. It’s just a bit of fun really as we don’t get paid or anything, well we get paid in ‘karma’ elsewhere but it helps with our banner addiction and we cater for the banner obsessed quite nicely LOL
There’s only three of us at the moment but hopefully we will get more shops opening soon.
