The Robert Kaufman Printing Process – from design concept to fabric printing

I watched this video a few weeks ago (November) and then lost the link for it.  I found it completely fascinating especially the burning of the fabric and the colour mixing and of course the printing process. *fabric geek*  I have a great many Robert Kaufman fabrics so I guess I’m a fan and I really loved watching this – hope you do too.

The video is by Ken Kaufman who is the CEO of Robert Kaufman (fabrics) and it’s a behind-the-scenes look at the fabric printing process.  The fabric is designed in the US and printed in Japan and Korea.  There’s been a few comments about why they can’t print it in the US but the company has addressed those questions on their blog
