Hello friends,
Today I am sharing another fabric-based journal page inspired by the VINTAGE theme over on Art Journal Journey where this month’s lovely host is Wendy K. [Edit: Thank goodness for scheduled posts and for writing this one at the weekend as now today has not turned out as planned and I’ve just got back from an emergency visit to the vets and I’m waiting for news. So I have edited out all the other stuff as this was also to be a WOYWW post but no time for desk photos now!]
This is another fabric I pulled out during the week of reorganising the stash! It started out the same way as the others by sticking it to the page with gel medium and leaving it to dry overnight. Then I had this page filled with this tiny retro TVs!
I love this print! I actually have two different versions, this aqua blue colour and a pink version! I wasn’t sure what i was going to do with it exactly, then I thought about writing down the TV shows I’d been watching, just on little labels under each TV, but then that kind of evolved into something else and I started drawing something on the screens instead either to represent the show or the channel I was watching.
I would have asked if you wanted to guess what was on each TV but then I realised that I had written them all down the side of the page so that wouldn’t be much of a game would it lol. From left to right, started at the top left TV: Offspring, BBC1, Vigil, Gosford Park, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Nine Perfect Strangers, Double Jeopardy, Channel 5, STV, Stargate Atlantis, Netflix, Downton Abbey, Amazon Prime, The Tomorrow War, Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild, Channel 4.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

This month I decided to join in with Effy Wild’s blog-along – 30 posts in 30 days same as we did in April this year. The idea is to blog every day if you can, but also to comment on other people’s blogs to keep the conversation going. There is a facebook group where you can link your posts and find other people’s to go visit and comment.
Erika reminded me about the wall of TVs I’ve seen in old magazines and ads. You have a lot of choices, that’s for sure. I have NONE of those choices. I sure loved the vintage tvs, though. Thanks for sharing these with us at AJJ using Wendy’s theme.
I love how you gave us all those TVs to watch. Just like when stores used to have walls of TVs you could look at. Very very vintage, and playful too. Thanks for sharing this cute page with us. It was so much fun Elle. Hugs-Erika
I am enjoying the peek into your fabric stash and your viewing habits! Another interesting journal page! I may take a leaf out of your book and have a look at my fabrics! The Guernsey L & PPP S is a favourite book!
The little TVs do look like vintage 1950s style with the funny little legs. You just need a bean-shaped glass-topped coffee table and a turquoise blue plastic couch to complete the ensemble.

Oh this is awesome!!
I loved The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society!!
I have watched it twice now I enjoyed it so much.
And I am on my second? third? watch through of Downton.
I finally got to see the movie. And looking forward to the second one.
Great fabric again, and love what you have done with it. Thank you again for your support for my theme on Art Journal Journey.
Such creative little TV’s. I love them and your ideas. Hope all goes well at the Vet’s.
