Hello friends,

Today is just a short one to share the results of the second Life Book Taster Session class I did yesterday.  I managed to complete two of the classes yesterday and watched about three or four of them while I was getting on with the doing part. BTW you can watch the free classes on the Willowing website, not just on Facebook, so if you hate FB you have another option!  Oh and if you want to see what other lesson I did, here it is – I’m glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.

This was Kim Dellow’s lesson from Day 1:

The idea was to doodle using only one colour in multiple options eg pens, pencils, crayons etc.  I used black since it was easier to find more black options than any other colour, but I might try another one in a different colour later.

I used a piece of the same watercolour paper I use to make my journals.  It’s 12.5 x 9.5 inches so I was able to get four pieces cut out of it.  In the class we were supposed to cut a postcard, a bookmark and a heart but I wanted to get as much as possible out of my paper, so I moved everything around so I could get three postcards and a heart and didn’t do the bookmark. A lot of what was covered in this lesson I have done before and especially this year, there have been a few similar lessons in other classes especially along the lines of cutting up one big piece after using a framing idea, but it was still quick and easy fun for me and that was what was required.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
