Hello friends,
Happy Tuesday! Hope your week has been good so far. Today I have a short post to share another art journal page, again using some Halloween fabric from my stash. Just how big is this stash, I hear you say, well not as big as it was as I gave half of it away to charity last year, so the group could make stuff for people in need, including masks! I didn’t give away my precious Halloween fabrics though, like this one which is a cute kid’s quilting fabric featuring Mr Scare D. Cat on it lol.
today’s journal page . . .
Here’s how it started out…
I didn’t do too much to it as it was nice the way it was, just some white outlining, some black borders, and then I drew on some spiders and webs on the tombstones and all the little white eyes along the bottom, oh and some extra teeth on the pumpkins. Then I added part of a poem I found on a poetry website, wrote it in white pen on black card and stuck it down on my page, and then outlined that too!
t stands for . . .
As it’s Tuesday, I am also sharing this post with the Tea Gang and here is my cup of tea in my stained cup (I do wash it occasionally lol). These dahlias are from the garden and I can’t believe they are still flowering after being battered with so much rain, so I thought I would cut these and bring them inside to enjoy before they get battered some more by wind and rain. Also in the photo, there might also be a sneak peek of something else I am working on for later this week,
And finally a cat photo! This is Miss Lily who has made herself quite at home in a Drona box full of stuffing – luckily the stuffing is in bags otherwise it would be covered in black cat hair like the outside of the box, so I don’t mind that she’s making a bed there. There’s a radiator behind it and it’s warm and cosy for her, plus she can escape from her brother and get some peace and quiet lol.
since last week. . .
I have several pages that are half done, plus I made the Halloween postcards + mail art envelopes, two videos, and seven finished pages. It’s been a stressful week and this was my coping strategy! Here’s a look at everything I’ve finished since last week’s post…
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

I personally don’t like Halloween, but your journal pages/postcards/art envelopes look fun.
The dahlias are gorgeous. (Erika has dahlias too).

You have been busy! Your art work is amazing and so versatile. The Scare D Cat art journal page is great – I love all the things you added to the fabric. Funny, how cats like boxes – I see that with my feline visitors all the time as well.
Oh Miss Lily is just too cute. I love your Halloween pieces. Makes me happy.
Elle, you have been busy. Love your fabric journal creation! Such fab Halloween designs. Super cool postcards too. Great tea mug and flowers too! Happy T-day! Hugz
I am late visiting because my electricity was out from shortly before 5:00 p.m. last night for around 19 hours. My apologies if you think I had forgotten or was ignoring you.
Wow, Elle, it looks like I’m behind visiting you. My apologies, because I really LOVE your fabric journal pages. You have some great Halloween fabric and I love how you use it. Thanks for sharing this latest entry with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey’s theme.
Those dahlias are beautiful. I’ve only seen them in photos, never in person, so I am super impressed. They certainly brighten up your craft table as does the tea in that adorable cat mug. Thanks for sharing Miss Lily, your art, your flowers, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Elle.
