Hello friends, and Happy Wednesday!
Today I have been busy with some art projects for next month and answering the door to amazon couriers – four different couriers delivering for the same order and yet somehow amazon couldn’t quite manage to put it all in one box for one delivery! Amazing!
today’s art . . .
Today I am sharing some note cards that I made to send to a couple of friends with their Christmas packages – with a bit of luck they will use them to write to me and then I will get one back! Win-win haha This is my Day 24 offering for Art Every Day Month.
I got some new stamps! It’s been a while – a long while – but now I have these and I wanted to make something for my friends. I was supposed to post their packages today but then I did this instead so I will post everything off to them on Friday.
I stamped them in dark brown and then I painted a little frame around each stamped image. I’ve left them blank so they can use them however they like.
Two more, a little different to the others. Not sure they belong in the sets so I might just have to keep them for myself!
I think one friend in particular will really love these two images. They are also stamped in the same brown ink but then I did another set a little differently…
This set is heat embossed in shiny gold and then splattered with gold acrylic ink.
I was using the gold acrylic to edge the cards. I love it when special editions of books have sprayed edges, usually in some colour or other but sometimes metallic, and that’s what I like to do to my cards too, but I don’t spray mine.
The other set has been edged in the dark brown ink like the stamps.
All ready to be added to the gift packages. I just need to make something to put them in first, a box or an envelope, something like that.

These are fabulous Elle. I see you are using more Lynne Perrella stamps. They are wonderful images and I like how you used them! Happy Thursday. Hugs-Erika
You are on a roll, Elle. You sure like Lynne Perrella and her stamps, don’t you. These are stunning and absolutely gorgeous. Of course, the gold embossed ones are my favorite, but the owl is a close second.
the first two are my favorites. The lady is beautifully designes and the owl, well a birder loves them 🙂
