I am still frozen, the heating is broken down, and we are all huddled together in the same room for warmth. No one wants to venture outside of this marginally warmer room lol. I have to double my posts today despite saying I wasn’t going to. Here comes the first of today’s art…

Today’s art is my Day 4 page for Art Journal Advent and my Day 4 stamp for Carve December – I love the idea of the extra challenge of combining the two things ha ha because clearly I am nuts! If you missed the previous days, you can find them linked at the bottom of this post in the slider.
And here’s my page for the Day 4 prompt which is FEMININITY. Most people seem to favour single pages but I tend to work across two pages as I like that better so again like yesterday, it’s a two page spread. I found this fashion model I had ripped out of a magazine some time ago and didn’t use. I guess she was on the shortlist for a journal page at one time and I must have chosen another. Because I didn’t want to start chopping bits off of her, I decided I would paste the whole page into my book like a centrefold model – if I had cut her legs off it just wouldn’t look the same so I couldn’t do it. I really didn’t do much to this page except for outlining her with a gold pen, adding some chrome pen to her eyes to make them shine, and then add a couple of gold washi stickers to match the gold pen. I wrote my journaling with a black pen along the bottom of the page. Then I finished it off with my little stamp.
For today’s stamp for the #CarveDecember2021 challenge I made this foam stamp out of seven small pieces of foam that I cut out using a punch and then glued them together in a circle/flower shape. I stamped it around the page using black Versafine Clair ink. Today’s prompt for the challenge is DEPTH and I don’t think my stamp fits the bill today, perhaps my fashion model has hidden depths?
