Hello friends, and Happy Tuesday!

Hope you are having a creative week.  Our heating broke down again so it’s a bit chilly here inside and out lol.  I have joined in a couple of Instagram challenges this month, one is an Art Journal Advent challenge and the other is a stamp carving challenge.  So today I am sharing the results of Days 1-6 so far in case you haven’t already seen the blog posts this month or on Instagram.  As usual they go on the blog first!  I haven’t done Day 7 yet as at the time of writing this post, I haven’t yet seen the prompt, but I will hopefully be able to complete it today.

Also I won two challenges!  The first one is from Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge Blog and funnily enough it was for the same set of ATCs as last time!  My prize is a guest hosting spot on their blog, I’m just waiting to hear from them. I’m so excited, I’ve been Top 3 a few times in their challenges but this is the first time I’ve actually won one!

The second one is from Country View Challenges and this time I won a £20 voucher to spend in their shop!  My winning entry was the gel printed masking tape star ornaments I made to go on the Christmas cards.  So that’s exciting start to the week, I may not have heating but I feel quite warm inside. 🙂

today’s art . . .

Today’s art is Day’s 1-6 of the Art Journal Advent Challenge and the Carve December Challenge with links to separate blog posts if you want to read more.

DAY 6 – MOMENT OF HAPPINESS

Journal page made from an old piece of drawing paper splattered with something like Scribble Sticks? Also stamped some TH snowflakes on the background, added some alcohol inked pieces and some origami paper, and drew a large pink heart in the middle and added happy words from a magazine.  The Day 6 stamps, a pair of them you might recognise as my signature cats!  I wanted to make them into a stamp and so I made two so they could face in both directions.  Read more…

t stands for . . .

This week T stands for this lovely set of fruit and herbal teas called Fruits of the Florist by T2.  This was a gift, not for Christmas, so I opened it.  Yum yum!  It comes in a beautifully presented box with a slip cover, and inside are these six little tins of herbal and fruit teas.

That’s it for now, hopefully I will be back later today with the Day 7 Advent and stamp carving post, depends on how the day goes and how inspired I feel by the prompts.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

Love your cats especially.
I have a new customer and she has two cats – I hope sometime to visit her. Well, them all!
And your teas, hmmmm. Look great!

Your advent art journal is fabulous. I am loving all your pages. That tea really makes me want to get an advent tea calendar. Hopefully next year.
Looking forward to seeing your stamp carving. I have always wanted to join in but I don’t have the patience to do a challenge everyday for a whole month.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Well, congratulations on two wins!
Your journal is really cool. (and a lot of work has gone into that) I love every page of it, but the cat on the cover is so cute.
The teas/herbals in the little tins are the perfect present (in my opinion). Lucky you.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I was so impressed with your art journal prompts, I signed up to get e-mails. I may not be able to do this, since I’m already behind, but I like what you are doing. I also like your carved stamps. They are such fun. You sure love to take on lots of challenges.

I have a friend who lives in Australia. She said she lives right down the street from the T2 plant, so she sent me some. I have yet to drink it. Your various flavors sound great. Those tins would have me thrilled, too. Thanks for sharing your art, your carvings, and your T2 tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Elle.

Your December advent journal is great and especially love that cover. The cat reminds me of one I had named Leo. He was quite the personality. You are making me wish I had a done a monthly holiday challenge this year. I started one last year and didn’t finish, so I decided not to do one this year. That is a mistake I think. Anyhow, enough about that. I hope you had/have a wonderful T day and your house isn’t too cold Elle. Happy rest of your week. Hugs-Erika
