Hello friends, and Happy Thursday!

The good news is that the current state of our heating is : WORKING!  It will take a while to heat the house up after having no heating for a week but I can feel the difference already.  I was feeling very grateful to be warm again and so I decided that I would make my gratitude page for the current Paperartsy blog topic which is Topic 15 Gratitude.

today’s art . . .

Today’s art is this art journal page that I made using all the stamps that I made for Day’s 1-7 of the Carve December Challenge.

My page is not about being grateful that the heating is working again but for being alive to enjoy the fact that the heating is working and of course, lots of other things that we don’t even think about from day to day.  It was a fresh morning this morning, and the sky was clear, and I was grateful that I am alive to see and enjoy it even if it was so cold – at least I was alive to be able to feel the cold!

Here are all the products I used on the page – I only planned to use the alphabet stamp set and the paint, but since I was using a Paperartsy alphabet I started to think about adding more of their stamps to the page, including my current favourite, these little tree people.
The other stamp I used was this one of the winter fairy or winter goddess perhaps?  I used her in two ways, firstly by stamping her on clear film so I could reverse her and have her looking into the page from this side.  And secondly…
I stamped her multiple times so I could have enough snowflakes from her head covering to fussy cut them out and add them to my page.  I did that little job while the engineer was here fixing the heating 🙂

What are you grateful for today?  Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

It’s taken me a while to get here but so pleased to see this now! I love that stamp set (have I said that before – grin!) and I love how you have used it here. Thanks so much for sharing it at Try It On Tuesday. I agree wholeheartedly with your words, Hugs, Chrisx
