Hello friends!
Today I am sharing my DT inspiration project for this month’s challenge over on More Than Words…
today’s art . . .
Today’s offering is this tag that I made as my DT inspiration for MTW Mini Challenge for May where the word inspiration is WAVE. You can find the challenge details at the end of this post, do join in if you feel inspired.
I used the cut off piece of watercolour paper from my earlier page I made for the Main Challenge and cut it into a tag shape. I’ve had these Jane Davenport washi sheets for years and keep forgetting about them, the main reason being that they are one big sheet that you have to either use as is or cut around everything on it. So for this tag, I decided to finally use them and cut out the mermaid #MerMay and the little seahorse.
I’ve been working with a lot of yarn on some other projects lately so I grabbed what I had on my desk and added some to this tag along with a little WAVE using a label maker. BTW this is the WORST label maker ever and I don’t recommend it to anyone. It really doesn’t work at all, and the best thing about it is that it looks like the Starship Enterprise.
To finish things off, I was looking for some words to add and found some in one of the books that I use for this purpose. This tag may have taken a dark turn haha or maybe she plans to rescue him and not just watch him sink to the bottom of the ocean?
I hope you feel inspired to join in the challenge this month. This mini challenge is held in the Art Cafe Facebook Group which you can find here.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
