Hello friends, and happy Sunday!

I’m working on a few things as well as rearranging the studio to give me more space – so far all that has resulted in is more space for cats to lounge around on doing nothing lol.  Anyway, here is my Day 2 page for Junk Journal July where the prompt is Reinvent.

If you want to play along, here are the prompts:

Here’s my problem, my brain automatically wants to do a double page spread so I laid this out without even thinking, then remembered that I only have enough pages for one day!

So working on the left page only… I wanted something for my butterfly (a freebie with last year’s Life Book) to rest on, so I pulled out this gardening catalogue.

I settled on these pretty purple flowers which I thought would go with my colour scheme.

I glued everything in place then put something heavy on top to keep it there.

A few more random bits made it on to the page including this butterfly which I think I diecut as a stencil/mask at some point, so now it has a home and a buddy.

I like how it says “scented” on this flower photo – it would be awesome to have scratch and sniff journal pages wouldn’t it?

That’s the finished page, folded back and held with the clip since page three is still blank.  The back of the paint chip from page one is showing all the paint sample details so I might paint over that with something fun.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
