Hello friends,
I’m back again with the Day 3 prompt – Layered Tag – for Junk Journal July, playing a bit of catch up with the posts at the moment so let’s get into it.
If you want to play along, here are the prompts:
Today’s prompt is all about tags and I have a few of those lying around, some of them for quite some time because, well for various reasons, but sometimes because I think they are too pretty to use or I just don’t know what to do with them. These green tags are an example of both lol. They are gel printed tags using layers of acrylic and a stamp and I made them about three years ago so it was time to use at least one of them! The little tag with the books on it is around the same vintage too!
The main tag is of course the big green gel printed tag but then I started playing around with some other smaller tags and liked how they looked layered together so I added them to the top of the page in a cluster after painting the page with white acrylic ink.
I used the Blackcurrant Beauty Pukka teabag sachet and some book paper (Harry Potter!) to tuck underneath the tag, and then that purple glittery element was just the right colour to add to the other tags.
I tied the little book tag on with some baker’s twine, a few other random pieces and some words joined the page and that was it complete.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
