Hello friends and happy new week!

I’m back again with the Day 4 prompt – Transparency – for Junk Journal July, and nice to be posting the right prompt on the right day!

If you want to play along, here are the prompts:

Today’s prompt is all about transparency and I thought of something I could use – some transparent sticky notes but then they just didn’t look like I wanted them too so I moved to Plan B.  Plan B was to use these previously stamped images and this gel printed deli paper piece.  The stamped images were stamped on some clear packaging material sometime last December!  They were extras but I didn’t want to throw them out and now, look, they’re being used!

OK so this looks a bit different to what I said I was going to use, but something went wrong when I added the deli paper to the page and so in order to save the page (I only just have enough for the month!) I had to cover it with something else.  I used some of this tissue paper with writing on it.

I only glued one side of the transparencies so they would work like a flap.

so the idea is that I can slip different coloured papers underneath and change the look of the faces.

Or leave them plain to let the text show through.

I added the sticker in the middle and outlined it with a stabilo, then drew on the botanicals.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
