Today I am sharing my DT inspiration project for the Mini Challenge which started today.

Today’s offering is this tag that I made as my DT inspiration for MTW Mini Challenge for July where the word inspiration is JOY. You can find the challenge details at the end of this post, do join in if you feel inspired especially since this word offers so many opportunities for making eg Christmas in July, Christmas cards in general if you are one of those super organised people who start making them this early!
To make the tag I used some watercolour offcuts from a much larger page and pieced them together to make my tag shape, and stuck them on to an amazon box.
In my recent clearing up/clearing out, I found these stickers and I wish I could find more of them as I really like the style of the font. I remember buying them in Hobbycraft years ago and never used them because I couldn’t get any more and didn’t want to use them up – how stupid is that lol! So I decided to use some even if it was only for one short three letter word JOY. If anyone knows where to find similar looking stickers please let me know.
I used some washi stamp stickers and some Tim Holtz word stickers, before doodling and writing on my background.
To finish off the tag, I tied some black and gold cords through the hole I punched in the top.
