Hello friends,

Here is my page for the Day 5 prompt: weather.

When I was thinking about the weather prompt it made me think of my Day 32 ICAD for sky, so I thought I would try to do another version of that but with a woman’s face instead of a cat!  You can see the ICAD version below.
Watercolour mostly but with a few other mediums included.

I gave her gold framed glasses instead of the silver from the ICAD.  Tried to catch the shine in the light but it’s not quite showing up.

I used a hair technique from a recent class by Christa Forrest.
Her face is painted across two pages so she does have a bit of a crease under her nose which couldn’t be avoided.

I was going to use a fountain pen to write the words and use a different colour this time instead of black all the time but my pen wasn’t co-operating so I used a dip pen instead.

The words are from a song by KD Lang called Summer Fling.

Normally this post would cover two prompts but since I used two pages for this one prompt, it was better to keep it to just one.

Since I am joining Friday Face-Off this week, here’s another pretty face for you.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

I love her!!! That “hair technique” is quite awesome, isn’t it?
