Hello friends!
Happy Saturday! My phone is still in the rice but on my camera I found photos of a page that I forgot to post! No big deal for posting here on my blog but it was actually the page for the Week 2 of #seekgathercreate – a little bit late now since we are at the end of week 3!
Today’s Art . . .
So here is my page for the week 2 scavenger hunt. The five items to be included were blooming flowers, tissue paper, something teal, stripes and fabric.
The fabric was an offcut left over from something else, but just the right size for the page. So what is and isn’t fabric on this page? The fabric extends from the cream part with the butterflies and flowers down to the orange fish. The blooming flowers are also on the fabric. Something teal is the watercolours scraps above and below the fabric piece. The stripes are the pink and blue piece along the left hand side, this came from a chocolate bar, and finally the tissue paper is the gold flecked white tissue you can see top and bottom of the page.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!

Very beautiful! I really like the site, nice color combination – and this composition of fish, flowers, butterflies looks so poetic.
All the best,

PS:
Thanks for your comment. You wrote to me: “You must miss traveling to exotic places!” – That’s right, I missed it during the Covid years, but just a bit. Whenever there was no lockdown, we at least found non-exotic places that are very beautiful.
You also wrote “That drink looks delicious, I’m guessing it contains a lot of rum?” – Oh yeah! VERY much rum, TOO MUCH rum ;-DDD
Thank you for your kind words about our cats Nina and Max. Unfortunately, Max passed away in August 2021. We miss him very much.
I really like this very much. The quote is perfect too. Have a nice day, Elle.
Beautiful page! The fabrics and images look stunning, loving those fishes, flowers and touches of gold – gorgeous ?. Your August challenge looks so much fun too! Happy Saturday! Hugs Jo x
