Hello friends!
Happy new week, I hope you have a great week. I signed up for the early bird for Wanderlust 2023 on Friday and I thought it might be a good idea to at least do some of Wanderlust 2022 before the end of the year, so I sat down on Saturday and watched all of the August classes which just happened to be my favourite thing – watercolours. I thought it might be best to ease myself into it with something simple and easy rather than something complicated and time consuming. I planned to do Nicole’s class first but then I couldn’t find any salt, so I switched to Wendy’s class which didn’t need any extras and looked quicker to do.
Today’s Art . . .
For today’s art I am sharing the page for the Week 32 class by Wendy Solganik (Willa Wanders)
There were some warm up exercises that I skipped because I am used to watercolour, and then the lesson was to paint a page of watercolour florals.
I used mainly my Mijello Mission Gold colours for this page but I did break out the Daniel Smith Opera Pink for those really bright pink flowers. Did I learn anything new? Not really since I’m used to painting florals and used to watercolour but the lesson would be super helpful if you weren’t. It was fun to watch and to do and I needed something simple to ease myself back into class lessons. There is a second part to this lesson which I will do if I get time. Believe it or not this is the first lesson I have done or even watched from this year’s Wanderlust! Hopefully I can get a few more under my belt before the end of the year.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!

Wow, I am impressed, but most of all, I am surprised that is the first video you have watched. I hope you get to keep the lessons forever or it’s a bit of a waste of money.
I am so glad you were able to watch the classes. The art is so pretty. I love the colors. Just feels happy. Have a nice evening.
