Hello friends!
Today I have another Wanderlust class lesson to share with you after my watercolour weekend last week. I’m not sharing these in any particular order – I might have if they had been current (current is week 36) but they are not – so it’s random and I’ve already shared the week, 30, 32, 33 and 35 watercolour lessons so far.
Today’s Art . . .
Today’s art is something I made for week 29 of Wanderlust which was the Wanderlust book with Kasia lesson.
I actually really like how this page turned out. I used bright watercolours and this leftover butterfly that was printed out on photo paper at the beginning of 2021 or maybe the end of 2020 lol. It was nice to finally use it as it’s been hanging around for a while now. If you look closely you will see that the body of the butterfly is furry so I am also linking it up to Neet’s theme this month on Art Journal Journey.
It’s been nice to do something different and to intersperse them between all the cat pages. 🙂
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!

Art Journal Journey – Fur/Feathers
This is really colorful and bright. I like how you pointed out the fur on the butterfly. I guess I never got that close to one. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us at Art Journal Journey using Neet’s theme.
I was watching a real butterfly quite closely last week and noticed how furry the body seemed to be so you are quite right in having this beautiful one as the centrepiece of your journal page for the Fur theme at Art Journal Journey. Such a delightful watercolour background, the perfect foil for the butterfly, perfect flowers for her to land on . Thanks for joining again Elle.
Hugs, Neet xx
