Today’s Art . . .
Today’s art is this page that I made during the week, actually it’s the second page for April but my photos got out of order and so I am posting it as the third page.
This is an entry for AJJ where the theme is recycling – see link at bottom of post. I needed to use up this flour as the BBE date was February and after I had, I kept looking at all the little loaves of bread on the front and decided I wanted to use it on a page.
I stuck it down onto some of my usual journal paper and then didn’t know what to do with it after that LOL. I had these fabric scraps sitting around on the table and the colours were similar to the bread packet, so I played around with them a little until I had something I liked. Then I glued them down in place too.
I flicked through one of the books I use for finding words, and found a few phrases that seemed to fit with the Little Red Riding Hood image. I glued them in place and then outlined them with a black pencil.
I then used a stabilo to add some shading to some of the other fabric scraps and called it done.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading.

Little Red Hood. Well done.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
That a great flour bag Ella and I can see why you wanted to use it in some art. I like how you recycled it and also what you added to it. That is the perfect fabric and little red riding hood works for all your pieces. It reminds me of your theme last fall- smile. Thanks for joining us for Bluebeard’s and Elizabeth’s theme at Ajj. And hope you’re feeling on the improve or even better
I really like how you reused the bread wrapper and the fabric scraps. This turned out fantastic. I may have to give up my recycle title to you because you recycle your packaging even more than I. I love this and am so pleased you thought of Bleubeard and me at AJJ to share it with.
So very creative; luv the imagination in your response to the prompt
much?
