Happy Tuesday Friends!
I hope your week is going well so far. I am just getting around to writing this post at 7pm on Tuesday! I was very busy this week/no computer time and almost didn’t make it but I did have a couple of things I wanted to show so here we are, better late than never!
Today’s Art . . .
Today’s art is actually just the ICADs this week!
ICAD 2023
I followed the week five prompt of “maps” for my next seven ICADs. These maps are from a Canberra street directory. There are other elements you might recognise from previous weeks (the big tissue paper letters from the typography week) some washi tapes, TH stickers, and random doodling. Here’s a look at the seven week 5 ICADs – days 29-35.
And here’s a closer look at them individually…

Currently Reading . . .
I gave up on the book I was reading for the last two weeks (but not really reading at all) but I have started this one which is the latest in the Harry Hole series by Jo Nesbo. I’m not very far in as I am having trouble with my phone, and might have to switch devices soon if it doesn’t sort itself out.
Book 13 in the Harry Hole series. Only Harry Hole can stop this ingenious psychopath. But Harry is gone: struck off the force, down and out in LA. It seems like nothing can entice him back to Oslo. Until someone close to him comes under threat.
Genre: Crime Fiction
TOTAL for 2023
88 books

89. is currently being read

Currently Growing . . .
The rain has really made everything shoot up, check out the rhubarb at the bottom of the path – I had to pull loads of it just so I could get down the path to the bottom of the garden!
These are all containers of various potatoes. Despite the rain, I am still having to water them regularly as the rain doesn’t really get into the containers to give them sufficient water. I lifted some potatoes as I was curious to see what was in the tub, but really I just wanted to eat some!
These are Charlotte potatoes. This variety is really a salad potato but I used them in something that was not a salad and you can find it further down the post.
Today’s strawberries. I also used some strawberries in a dessert this week as I had so many of them. There’s a photo of that dessert below too,
T Stands For . . .
Rhubarb and strawberry crumble (rhubarb and strawberries from the garden). With all the rain we’ve been having, the rhubarb has grown like crazy so I had to pull a whole lot of it so I could get past it to the rest of the garden. Some of it went into this crumble, which I had with yogurt, some went into the freezer and some went to my sister – and there is STILL loads of it in the garden! For T day I have a glass of water with lemon, just sitting behind the crumble.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading and Happy T Day!
I don’t know how I missed this post. Everything looks so amazing. I love how you have your garden.
Your plants are lovely.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
Elle, I’m really worried about you. I missed you for T Tuesday. I hope all is well in your world.
Hello Elle – sorry I am late commenting.
Fab map ICADS – love the look and colors.
Wonderful garden pics!
The crumble looks and sounds sooooo good.
Happy late T-day. Hugz
Beautiful ICADS. I enjoyed your slideshow. 🙂 Oh, my, I want some of that rhubarb crumble! Happy T Day.
Wow, your garden is taking off! And oooh, I love rhubarb but we can’t get it here. (Too hot I suppose and too dry). Your meal looks delish and of course my mouth waters just looking at that rhubarb crumble!
Sorry I’m late. Tuesday is a busy day for me.
Belated happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I LOVE your ICADs. I am in awe you are following the prompts. I grab whatever is handy and go from there. Yours are so much better than mine. Really, really LOVE them.
Your mystery sounds intriguing. Your garden is going gangbusters. I am so impressed with how much everything has grown. Must be nice to get such a bountiful harvest each day. Lucky you.
Your meal looks delicious. I am so glad to see so many vegetarian meals this week. And that crumble looks good for dessert, too. Thanks for sharing your ICADs, your garden, your latest e-book, your meal, and your water with lemon with for T this Tuesday, dear Elle. Are you doing Junk Journal July? If so, I hope you share it on your blog, since I’m not on Instagram.
Your garden is looking amazing. And that’s a lot of strawberries. Yum! I tried my hand at potatoes this year but I’m not sure exactly
When to pull any of them. And those ICADS are super. I like how you used the map. And I hope you had a great (although busy T day) t day. And I hope you have a less crazy week ahead. Hugs erika
Fabulous ATCs and your garden is WOW. I’m salivating over the food you made from you garden especially the strawberry rhubarb crumble. Happy T Day
You are so lucky to grow rhubarb. I just love it but don’t have it growing, so I have to pay lots of money to buy it!
