Happy New Year!
Wow 2024 already – where did 2023 go? I hope you had a lovely, safe and happy Christmas and that you have a very peaceful, safe and happy New Year. Did you make plans for 2024 or set intentions or make a list of the dreaded resolutions? Or perhaps you are more of a “Word of the Year” kind of person? If so then read on…
As it is the very first day of the month, as well as being the very first day of a brand new year, I am excited to share my DT inspiration project for January at More Than Words with you.
At More Than Words this year, we are celebrating a whole year of Creativity, your creativity, and we are starting by choosing our Word of the Year. If you do this already, then no doubt you have already chosen your word. If not, then there is some helpful information on today’s MTW blog post to help you choose yours, including links to Susannah Conway’s free workbooks.
I thought I had chosen my WOTY weeks ago and that word was “Believe“. But after Christmas, I started to think that Believe wasn’t quite right, and I started brainstorming other potential words. Some of the other words I came up with were Move and Go and I thought that one of those could work – move more, move your body, movement, move house etc, same for Go but then I realised that none of that would work if I wasn’t ready for it to work, if I wasn’t in the right frame of mind for it to work and to focus on it, and so my Word of the Year became READY. Ready for 2024, ready to live in the present, ready to move, ready to simplify, ready to lose weight, ready to let go, ready to find my dream home, ready to be my best self, ready to change and so on.
I hope you can join us this month and in our year of creativity. If you have chosen your word of the year, let me know in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy Journalling!Ingredients
