I hope you are all doing well. Well we were promised a week of horrible rain but instead it has been sunny and blue skies – what a treat! I was out today and the sun was hitting me on the face all the way home in the car and it was WONDERFUL. I was tempted to shade my eyes but I was just really enjoying some sun for a change so I didn’t.

My theme for this month is Steampunk, Halloween OR Steampunk Halloween.
Today’s Art . . .

Today’s art is a page inspired by this bag of Halloween cookies:

I really like all the little Halloween motifs on the bag so I decided to give it a bit of a wipe and use it on my page. What makes the cookies Halloween cookies? No idea, except they are green instead of the usual cookie colour and they contain Smarties or something similar. Either way, I was all about the packaging!

To make use of the window in the bag, I decided to make a tag to slide in behind it, and drew a little black cat to sit in there. I also added some Halloween stickers leftover from my calendar page.

Sneak peek: in the background of the above photo, there some more Halloween packaging that I plan to use in another page, and have already started cutting up!

Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading, Happy Journalling and Happy Halloween!

I want a cookie right now they look tasty. Even being green. 🙂 And what a fun page. You were smart to recycle the bag beside it has some super images on it . And nice idea to make a tag and cut a little hole in the bag to share the black cat. This is their season, isn’t it? I see the little Easter Egg you left us too. I hope you get more sunshine. hugs-Erika
