I hope you are all doing well. Well our clocks changed at the weekend and now everything is out of whack! Eating at the wrong time, falling asleep and waking up at the wrong time, it will take me a few weeks to adjust. We are also having colder temperatures and quite a bit of rain but also most of it at night and nice sunny, dry days, so I appreciate that!
My theme for this month is Steampunk, Halloween OR Steampunk Halloween.

This page will be the cover of my Halloween journal. I made it using this packaging that I have saved since last Halloween. If you saw my last post, you would have got a sneak peek of this packaging. I have been finding it very useful as a background in my photos but now I’ve chopped it up and used it in my journal.
I bought two of these pumpkin neon signs last year and the backing cardboard was just too good to throw away so I put it somewhere safe so I could use it this year!
I did have to cut them down to fit my journal but I managed to include all the important parts.
I had also forgotten about these little guys, so I did some stamping and colouring so I could include some of them on my page.
And I finished it off with these old Tim Holtz Halloween stickers.
Here’s how it looks now that the back and front covers are glued onto my journal.

That packaging makes a fabulous background, and I actually like it cut down better than in the whole form. I like how you have the same on your front and back cover, except for the figures of course. 🙂 I forgot I had those Janet Klein figures too. They look fantastic on your page. And your fireplace looks great with decorations. So nice and cozy for a rainy chilly night. And of course you have a black cat. Does he stay up all year long? Hope you adjust soon. We change our clocks this upcoming weekend so it will be me in the same out of time mess next week. hugs-Erika
