I hope you are all doing well. It was vaccination time yesterday so these two had to be rounded up and captured.

Miss Lily did me a favour by jumping into a cardboard box, so she was easy to capture, but her brother, Mr G, gave me a bit of a workout, by running away from me, hissing and growling! I am still hobbling about so I’m sure you can imagine how that went! Most of the doors were closed but he still had access to the living room and the bedroom, so he kept running up and down stairs from one to the other until eventually I was able to grab him and shove him in the carrier. He wasn’t going quietly though, and kept trying to squeeze his head through the flap while I battled with the zipper! He then howled the whole way to the vets. So glad this is only once a year! Poor Miss Lily seemed to be very affected by the vaccination and slept all day and all night, but she has finally bounced back to normal this afternoon. Poor girl 🙁

My theme for this month is Steampunk, Halloween OR Steampunk Halloween.
Today’s Art . . .

I found this Halloween bingo game in a supermarket a few weeks ago. It cost £1 so I thought it was worth buying so I could use some of it in my journal. For the £1 you get 6x bingo cards with the “scary four in a row” game on the reverse.

I covered the page with some squares of Halloween paper and then glued the cards down on the page, with some of the game markers in place. Then I added some of the (also £1) Halloween stickers around the page and used the Halloween header from the sticker pack as my title.
And look who joined me this afternoon to help with this page! Miss Lily awake, alert, and in her usual spot on my art table! 🙂
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading, Happy Journalling and Happy Halloween!
