During my Crafty Long Weekend, I read about this Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Blog Hop on Seven Hills Crafts Blog and since I happen to have this awesome coffee love stamp set from Altenew, I decided to join in.

I Love You More Than Coffee Cards

Here’s the stamp set I will be using – Coffee Love Stamp Set.

I’ve been giving it some thought all week, wondering what exactly I was going to do with it and what direction I was going to end up going in.  Then after yesterday’s rainbow background creation, I knew what I was going to do!

I picked out two of my favourites from the mountain of backgrounds I created – one with diagonal swipes with a gap in the middle which I thought would be great to put the long narrow “coffee and friends” sentiment.  I arranged the coffee stamps around the background using my Stamp Platform, dusted it with cornflour, then stamped them with Versamark ink and covered them Black Glint embossing powder. and blasted them with my heat gun.

Then I chose one with the double rainbow background, swapped out the sentiment in the centre, and repeated the process.

I also had some of these little kraft notebooks leftover from Christmas, so I stamped the front cover with some of the same stamps and heat embossing.

And I ended up with these three little darlings – two large cards, one with Gina K Charcoal Brown cardstock and one with Blue Raspberry cardstock, and my little Kraft notebook. That was fun!
