Here is some lovely decorated snail mail I received the other day from Riikka @Paperiliitin all the way from Finland. We were both curious to see how it would survive its journey and if it would be damaged in any way, but look, it was just perfect.
It’s so exciting to receive something in the mail that isn’t a bill or junk mail isn’t it? I am lucky in that I do have friends that do like to send mail and packages outside of birthdays and Christmas, and I am all for a revival of snail mail and especially mail art. Inside was a lovely little package of goodies that I can use in a mixed media (and quite possibly a mail art) project. The book pages are all in Finnish which is going to be a great addition to a project, perhaps for my journal.
