Hi Crafty Friends!
Today I have another Halloween card to share. As soon as I saw this stamp set, it was all I could think about, so I had to work out a way of getting my idea out of my head and on to paper!
The little ghosts in this Boo Crew set are so cute and remind me of the ghosts in the old Pac Mac game, so I thought with just a little tweaking, I could make them look just like that, and make my card look like the game.
I made a template to draw out the game layout, and used Nuvo drops to add in the white and yellow pills that Pac Man gobbles up on his way around the board.
Here’s a close up of the little ghosts. Oh did I mention that the text is Glow in the Dark?
Like all other GITD products the embossing powder does need to be exposed to light first to “charge it up”, but it doesn’t look too bad in this photo.
I actually had enough leftover ghosts to make a second card which you can see here on the right.
If you want to see more about the second card, click here for the Heat Embossed Watercoloured version.
I am entering this card in the More Than Words October Mini Challenge which is held on their Facebook page.
The word inspiration is:
Ink Road Stamps – Boo Crew
Gina K Black Onyx card
Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils
Lawn Fawn embossing powder
Versafine Clair Nocturne
From stash: white paint pen
