Hey there Crafty Friends, I’m back with another birthday card, and this one is for my nephew whose name is…

I knew I wanted to make this simple and that I wanted it to be an eclipse card, so what better way to combine both than using the eclipse technique on his name!

The only thing I couldn’t decide on was the colour for the ink blending, so I did two versions, one with Mermaid Lagoon and one with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides.  I had my trusty helper Lily overseeing the whole process from beginning to end, and we both decided on the Mermaid Lagoon version.

I didn’t take any more photos of this card being made because I was on a deadline and had realised that I needed to make the card on that day so I could give it to someone to give to him, as I didn’t have time to post it.  So I needed to get it done before I got picked up for a family event.  However, it’s fairly straightforward and nothing I haven’t already covered in previous card tutorials.  The card has:
Distress Oxide ink blended edges
ink splatters in white, magenta, turquoise and gold acrylic
eclipse effect die cut name
black heat embossed sentiment stamp

And that’s it! Happy Birthday Connor!
