Hi Friends!
A very short post as I wanted to post this final page for Jo’s theme, but my mind is elsewhere as currently Miss P is AWOL. She was very freaked out by the changes to the house yesterday, specifically her room, and hid for over 10 hours. Then she seemed to be OK at night and slept on the sofa. This morning she wanted out, and she’s been outside all day in minus temperatures. I’ve been out a few times, walking up and down the garden calling her name and no answer. It’s going to be -6C tonight, it’s already -3C now at 6.30pm, so I am a bit worried about her. It’s really put a dampener on things around here.
Today’s Art . . .
Today’s art is my last page for November and it’s a journal page for Jo’s theme this month on Art Journal Journey – Nature. Thanks Jo for hosting this lovely theme, wish I could have joined in more, it’s been a busy month. My nature elements are an owl, a squirrel, mushrooms and some plants.
Nearly everything on this page is Paperartsy. They have a new tissue paper out from Scrapcosy and the squirrel, owl, mushrooms and plant images come from that. They also have other new products including Mattetints, two of which I used here on the background along with a new Infusions – Just Walnut. I also used three of their stamp sets old and new. Today is St Andrew’s Day which is observed in Scotland and so I have used some tartan cardboard from a Walker’s shortbread box on my page. The Kindness word in green cardboard came from a box of Linda McCartney vegan pies, one of which I had last night for dinner.
Now I must get back out to the garden and see if Miss P might make an appearance – fingers crossed!
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading and Happy journalling!

Art Journal Journey – Nature
I love this final page for Jo’s challenge. One because it’s a beautiful nature inspired page, and 2, I just ordered those mate tints so when they come in (they’re sitting in US customs right now), they should be shipped my way. It’s great to see how they look. Which is very nice on your page. And I like the images too. I have that squirrel stamp set. It is great to see how other people use something you have because it’s always amazing how different people have their own creation styles. That’s one of the best things about challenges. Thanks for joining Jo’s challenge so many time this month. And happy december to you also. hugs-Erika
