Hi Crafty Friends!
My last project for the year and I’ve had to hold off on posting it as it too was a gift for a friend and I had to keep it offline till she received it!
So this year marked the 150th anniversary of the the postcard and so to celebrate I have been making and sending postcards to some friends. These particular postcards are some of my favourites as I love how these little stamps work so well with the postcard format and how the Distress Ink colours look together. All the stamps are from Rubber Dance.
Here’s how they looked before they were painted.
And I love this one in particular
I packaged them up together with some ribbon and put them in a box to send to my friend. If you want to see more postcards, check out this earlier post that has some more traditional seaside images, or check them out below:
Both are painted with Distress inks and the top stained with tea for that aged, vintage look.
PROJECT RECIPE:
Watercolour paper
Rubber Dance Stamps – various
Distress Inks
Distress Archival Inks
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
From stash: tea
