Hi everyone, since love and romance is in the air this month (because it’s February and traditional) I have a set of romantic (?) ATCs to share with you today.
The new Mini Challenge starts today over on More Than Words Challenge Blog and this is my DT inspiration for this month. The challenge word is ADORE since this is the month of love after all!
I cut these ATCs out of some already painted watercolour paper that I had been testing out some new(ish) paint on. Since the colour palette seemed to fit, I decided to use them as the base for my designs.
I had some of the plum blossom napkin leftover from a recent project and also some tissue paper from something I was working on for Life Book, so I thought I would use up these little bits of paper on my ATCs.
Once the collage was dry, I used my Pitt pens an paint pens to bring back some of the colour and design from the papers to make it more prominent, and highlight some areas.
Then I added some white paint splatters because I can’t help myself lol, and I found three ADORE word stickers in my stash, so I added one to each ATC.
Final touches – I outlined each word sticker with a brown stabilo, and then edged each ATC with gold paint.
.
More Than Words Mini Challenge – This challenge requires you to use a specific word on your project so the word ADORE has to appear on the card. Entry for the Mini Challenge is now also held on the blog under the relevant post. Visit the MTW blog for more details of prizes and sponsors and some amazing inspiration from the Design Team.
