Hello friends, and Happy July!
Wow June went by so fast didn’t it? And now here we are in July already. Since it is the first of the month, I am sharing my DT inspiration project for the July Main challenge at More Than Words with you.
The main challenge this month is as follows:
I love anything watercolour so of course this month I am in my element and of course it is also time for the annual #worldwatercolormonth too!
My page started off with this pencil sketch of a woman’s face.
Then I added shading to her face using Tombow markers and a water brush. I wondered what to do with the rest of the page and what kind of hair she wanted to have…
I couldn’t decide so I left it overnight and then in the morning, I knew her hair needed to be purple! I used my watercolour pencils to draw in some waves.
Then used a water brush again to activate the pigment. When it was all dry I wrote the quote in the waves of her hair.
Hope you feel inspired to join in the challenge this month!
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
