Hello friends, and Happy September!

Since it is the first of the month, I am sharing my DT inspiration project for the September Main challenge at More Than Words with you.

The main challenge this month is as follows:

My interpretation of the challenge was of course, no great surprise – it was a book playlist!

At the time of making this spread I had read nine books but now at the end of the month I can report that I actually managed 13 audiobooks in total.  It’s a lot easier to get through this many books when they are audiobooks than had I been reading them myself.

For the home of my playlist I thought I would create a secret library using some really old Graphic 45 papers, some book stacks from Mintay, and some other ephemera from Prima, some book pages and some small stamps.

I wasn’t satisfied with just the double page library, so I decided to add more books by adding flaps to my pages to enable the secret library to be closed up and hidden.

I will try and add a video from Instagram here if it will play nice.

What a super page Elle. I love the idea of a secret library, and I love all the images you used on your page. I would like that library myself. Happy September to you, even if it is now the second. hugs-Erika

Goodness, Elle. You put a LOT of work into this, as well as the cover. It is fabulous. I especially like the wind up book addict.
