Hi Friends,
Hope your week is going well. Blogger seems to be having a problem that is affecting how long it takes me to leave comments but at least I can leave them eventually. I seem to be a bit short on comments here this week but as far as I know there are no problems at my end!
Today’s Art . . .
Today’s art is something I put together with last week’s tea drinking efforts. Yes I drank a lot of Chamomile tea and Three Mint tea all Pukka branded, and there were just enough teabag wrappers when I opened them up, to cover the whole page,
Here’s how it looked with the layer of tea wrapper collage…
And then today I picked up this paint brochure in the shop I was in and liked the look of this lady drinking, perhaps, tea.
Then I added some stamping with bubble wrap, and then some washi tape on top. I was also painting and diecutting some leaves today and so I used the negative pieces on this background,
I drew around the leaf cutouts with a white pen and then extended the white leaves on to the page.
I added TEA LADY using some old black alphabet stickers and wrote this quote on a piece of black card with a white pen.
I am joining in with Bleubeard and Elizabeth on Art Journal Journey this month with two layers of collage and my tea references.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!

What a beautiful page, Elle! It’s so creative and beautiful and I love the colors, too! And I want to thank you so much for visiting my blog, too! HUGS!! Sharon
An imaginative collage. Very nice to drink from the tea, I’m doing a lot at the moment.
Have a nice day, hugs Elke
I like how you used up those tea bags in your background and made this fun tea lady page. The polka dot washi tape is a great little pop too. What a super page and a great idea too. And sorry it’s taken me a few days to get by to comment. Not ignoring you nor know of any problems, I just haven’t been feeling up to much blogging. Thanks for joining us at AJJ. Hugs-Erika
I like red teas.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Love this Elle! Beautiful colours and a great quote.
I must start keeping my teabag packets again 😀
Have a great weekend,
Alison
Love this??
I can’t seem to leave comments on embedded text blogs, but blogger is very slow when I try to create a post.
I am in awe of this journal page. It is fabulous. You did a great job with the leaves and an even better job with the use of these tea boxes. These are truly awe inspiring. thanks for sharing this spread with us using Bleubeard’s and my theme at Art Journal Journey, dear Elle.
