Hi Friends,

Hope your week is going well.  Things are still a bit stressful here but I thought I would try to fit in this page and post before I have to capture Miss Lily for her next vet visit.

Today’s Art . . .

Today’s art is something I put together with bits and pieces on my desk and this little dry leaf I found inside my shopping bag.  I don’t know how it got in there but I thought I would preserve it on this page.  The green feather print is a gel print from a while back, and there are other bits of deli paper gel prints, wrapping paper, tissue paper, a piece of alcohol inked paper, some leaf diecuts, washi tape, twine, and a couple of stickers.

I used the leftover words from three different Scottish poems I had printed out for other projects to make another little story opposite the collage cluster.

I thought I would do some journalling on the other side, and since it’s so cold today and I have no heating, well, that’s what I wrote about.

Here’s a look at the whole page…

I am joining in with Bleubeard and Elizabeth on Art Journal Journey this month with my collage cluster.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!

That blue is amazing Elle, and the autumn collection of items you added look excellent on it. It feels like a bright fall day, and if only it was a bit warmer outside here (and sunnier too), I’d be out for a walk. Hope the vet visit went well. And thanks for sharing this lovely page with us at AJJ for Bleubeard’s and Elizabeth”s challenge. Happy Friday. hugs-Erika

What an incredibly stunning collage you have given us. This is both mesmerizing and joyful. I love the addition of the real leaf, but I also love the found poetry and the darling bird. I am especially fond of those leaves you created. I think they are the best of the collage fodder. Thank you so very much for sharing this entry with Bleubeard and me using our themes at Art Journal Journey, dear Elle. Please stay warm!

A marvellous page, full of lovely things to look at. I love the bird, and your found poetry. Birds found their way into my art today too.
Hope you have some heating soon you poor thing!
