Hi Friends!

So I am still on “one crutch” which must be some kind of record – not one that I am interested in holding btw. I’m still having trouble with stairs and I still can’t drive my car.  I am waiting to hear back from the hospital as to what they want to do next.  Meanwhile, it’s business as usual here, albeit a little slower and with a limp. 🙁

Today’s art . . . Week 15 and 16 cards

Today’s art are the latest altered playing cards for the Full Deck Challenge #3 which is held by Shanouki Art. Shanouki Art’s Full Deck challenge can be found mainly in her FB group, on Instagram and on her Youtube channel here.  I am following on Youtube because I hate facebook lol.  This is a year long challenge, where you alter one playing card every week till the end of the year.  The overall theme for this year is MINI COLLAGE which is totally my jam so I’m in!  There are only three rules which you can choose to follow or not –
1. leave one corner unaltered to show the number and suit,
2. carry something forward from the previous card, and
3. Use one thing the same in every card.
She also offers a prompt for each card that will get progressively more challenging.

Here’s a look at last week’s (week 15) card and this week’s (week 16) card.  For week 15 the prompt was “stack it up” and asked for many layers and the prompt for week 16 was “sew”.
Week 15 – gel prints, tissue paper, scrapbook paper, yogurt carton, gift wrap, word sticker, washi tape, black waterproof pen, staples, glue
Week 16 – fabric, scrapbook paper, handmade paper, washi tape, die cut floral, gold thread, stitching with black thread, glue,
I’m joining Creative Artiste this month with these two cards.  Link to the challenge at the end of the post.

Weeks 13-16 cards
Which means we can now take a look at the last four weeks – weeks 13-16 – cards.

Weeks 1-8 cards

If you’re curious about the previous 12 cards, I have added them below.  Cards 1-8 had simple colour prompts.

Weeks 9-12 cards

Cards 9-12  were adding more things and becoming more mixed media.  Here’s a look at cards for weeks 9-12 below.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.   As always, thanks for reading and Happy arting!Ingredients
