Hi Friends!
Hope you are all doing well. My last post for June and I thought I would start with this little star. Miss Lily is feeling much, much better and is back to doing her normal activities and eating well. One of her activities involves sitting on my paper trimmer and attacking the ruler – happy days! 🙂
Today’s art . . .
Today’s art is this page, which has a lot in common with my previous page in that it uses people from the same old fashion magazine and a similar colour palette, although this one does not have a rainbow or watercolour background. It does have the same napkin butterflies (I really need to make more of these as I’m almost out) and some leftover punched circles from my ICADs.
Their headdresses were made from flowers from a gardening catalogue, I drew the small purple flowers with some Poscas, and in light of the news at the time of working on this page, I covered the whole page with gold peace symbols using a gold marker. This page with these five people is an entry for Matilde’s theme of People. I hope she will have time to visit and see my pages on the blog this month.
The text was stamped from the same old Carabelle stamp set sometime last year and I found them all in a box ready to use. It reads:
In the midst of chaos lies CREATIVITY
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and happy journalling!

So glad Ms Littly is doing much better. Plus looks like you find some time for creativity.
Wonderful news about Miss Lily. So glad she is doing much better.
Your journal page is wonderful. I agree wioth8 Erika. This page feels different, even though you used the same elements. Thanks for another fantastic entry for Matilde’s theme at AJJ.
I love your page! Thank you for entering our challenge at Art Journal Journey.

That’s great news about Miss LIly. Hurrah. And this is another super page. It feels different even if you used the same fashion magazine and the game gardening magazine. And you did a great job with those napkin butterflies. They look beautiful. I’m guessing they are first glued down on heavier paper. I say that because they look like they’re popping off the page. Thank for joining Matilde’s challenge at AJJ once again. Can you believe it is already JUne 29? I don’t know where this month has flown to. hugs-Erika
