Am I sick of pop up balloon cards yet? Hope not because I need to make another two of them lol
Yes so I have two more August birthdays to make cards for (memo to self: August is just as busy as Spring fyi) and since I made all of these…
I really wanted to use them up! (FYI I still have some leftover lol)
This time as I was making two cards simultaneously I wanted to make them the same but different, so I opted for different colour schemes with the balloons. After playing around with them for a bit, I ended up with these two cards. I won’t go through the whole process again but if you want to see the other pop up cards, check out this pop up balloon card from yesterday and the pop up balloon card from earlier in the month for more photos, process and technique.
I used the same frame die as I used on this card, but in glitter cardstock. I also cut both names out of the same Altenew Bold Caps Alphabet die as in yesterday’s card, and then I used these leftover coloured and diecut cats from this card – reduce, reuse, recycle – hah I’m aiming for zero waste in the craft studio!
And we’re done! I also made a little something, a gift, to go in the package with both these cards, but that will be a post for another day.
Whoops, nearly forgot, I also stamped both envelopes for my crafty friends!
Supplies used FYI:
Glitter card, Cards and envelopes from stash

Sizzix nesting frames dies
Altenew Caps Bold Alphabet dies
Altenew Crafty Friends and Crafty Life Stamsp
Birthday sentiments stamps
Acetate cut from packaging
