A few days ago I posted about my Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit and how speedily it arrived.  Unfortunately I was away, so it spent a few days at the post office, and when I went to pick it up, my Stamptember orders were also there!  Yay!

So this is just a quick post to showcase my Stamptember purchases.

I bought a SSS Christmas bauble stamp set which is one of their September release stamp sets and not one of the limited Stamptember sets, and I also bought a stencil from them too – both of which I have seen in action on Youtube and that’s what cinched it for me.  The other three in the photo are all Stamptember releases – Newton’s Nook, Sugar Pea Designs, and The Greeting Farm.  The Newton’s Nook one I love (love them in general) as I can see it being very useful for various projects, stamping sentiments in the banners etc.  The Sugar Pea cactus set is so cute and because cactus!  I love cactus!  The Greeting Farm is new to me, never had any of their stamps before, but I thought this was so cute and I love the “Winter is Here” sentiment!

I also bought this great birthday balloons set from Honey Bee Stamps called Tie One On.  I’m really pleased about this one in particular given my lack of balloon stamps and dies – no longer, got that one sorted now!  I bought two more September releases from Simon, the Sweater Weather cats (because cats) and the Big Picture Book Kitty die set (also because cats).  And then I wasn’t going to, but after watching Tim Holtz demo this set, I decided to grab the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Stamptember release. Now what I liked about this one is that it is kind of a combination of the regular Stampers Anonymous Christmas release stamps and shifter stencils BUT all of them are at a different scale to the originals.  I actually haven’t bought ANY of these stamp sets yet nor the stencils, so I decided to grab one of these as it has all the best ones from all the sets IMO, and they are all perfectly sized for cards.

So these were the ones I wanted that I was lucky enough to be able to grab, but there were others that I just wasn’t quick enough to get including the Gina K set called Joy of the Season – love those trees.  The Concord and 9th set with the cute monster, the Studio Katia one, and the WPlus9 one – love those flowers!  The problem is that it is usually a new set released for each day in September, so if you wait too long to see what else is coming up next, you might find that the earlier ones are sold out.

What is Stamptember?

STAMPtember® is a month long celebration of stamping event at Simon Says Stamp to “inspire, educate, and celebrate our community of stampers“.  It now goes beyond just stamping and also includes lots of other exclusive products such as dies and stencils etc.
