Hi Friends!
Today I have the second of two cards I made today. This one I am calling More Tea Please.
As I mentioned in my last post, the inspiration for both cards came from looking through my stash at all the bits and bobs and wondering what on earth I could do with them all. As it turns out – quite a lot – as I made two cards! This is the second card, and I put it together from bits that were lying around on my table like this background and all little unused bits and pieces, and some of this Maja Design paper that I had leftover from something else – who would have thought they would all go together! Either this photo is blurry or it’s my eyes, it could go either way today lol.
The finished card below has a pink watercolour background that was stamped with some water soluble crayons and an embossing folder last week, then the Maja scrapbook paper pieces, a piece of corrugated cardboard from a Felix cat food box(!) and some white Prima flowers and one of my handmade pink paper flowers. The card base is also coffee coloured, it might be Lawn Fawn, I can’t remember but I’m sure it’s called ground coffee or ground espresso. I used Polychromos on the image of the woman drinking tea as I like to enhance some of the colours. I tore the edges of the pink watercolour paper to make it look more interesting and then attached everything to my card base slightly off centre. The centres of the white flowers have some liquid pearls added to them as they looked a little bare. The Tea Please and the little kettles are from the bottom edge of the scrapbook paper, so I thought I would use them up.
And that’s it! Thanks for reading, let me know what you think of More Tea Please. I’m off to make a cuppa!
