Hi Crafty Friends!
Happy Saturday or around here it’s definitely Happy Caturday!
The sun has got his hat on and the kitties are enjoying the warm weather – it’s such a novel treat for them given how cold it usually is here. In the sunroom it’s about 35C lol, outside probably around 20C but enough to make everyone happy.
I have been working on my Wellspring 2020 projects all week trying to catch up since I started late. The course I am referring to is of course, Wellspring 2020 by Artful Academy (formerly Mixed Up Creative Academy). Here’s what they say about the course:
Wellspring is an inspirational, motivational school all about using art for mental wellness and self-care. It runs in our dedicated online classroom from May 1st to August 18th 2020. Through 30 energising and insightful lessons we will explore how and why art can be a powerful tool for mental wellbeing and self-care, and make lots of beautiful projects along the way. Join us for 18 weeks of uplifting, empowering, thought-provoking, life-affirming art lessons themed around mental wellbeing!
This new lesson is all about Positivity and sure could use some of that. And here is what I’m working on.
This actually took me all afternoon, but they are now left to dry before moving on to the next stages. It’s the perfect weather to be making a perfect sunny project like this. Can you feel the positivity radiating out of it?
When I’m done I may well call my finished project Sunshine in a Bowl because that’s what keeps running through my head while making these backgrounds.
As always, thanks for reading!

From stash:
I started something new for April and continuing for May:
Since we are all stuck inside and can’t leave the house, I thought I would try and do two things:
1. use this time to finish any unfinished projects
2. use as much recycled materials as possible (I do this a lot anyway) but also not to buy new stuff!
So, with that in mind, I will note the above on any posts, if applicable.
UNFINISHED PROJECT – NO
RECYCLED MATERIALS – NO, but nothing new used, no new purchases!
Thanks for visiting today. Your comment is really appreciated.
