Hello friends, and Happy April 1st!

Since it is the first of the month, let me share my DT inspiration project for the April Main challenge at More Than Words with you.  This month the main challenge is as follows:

This month’s challenge board image is actually one of mine and it comes from a previous journal page that I created last year which you can see here. Here’s what I created for this month’s challenge:

As my house is still in a state of chaos, and I can’t access all my supplies, here’s what I found to work with for possible collage material.  I made a birthday card for my BIL last week so I had some of that paper leftover, and the rest are bits and pieces I found lying around begging to be used for something.

I covered my entire page with the papers using matte medium but everything was looking very white and not very vintage despite the big VINTAGE logo on that journal card lol.  So I got out my stabilo-alls and neocolours and started to do some colouring and shading using a water brush.

Here are some close ups… since this paper is in French I even found an “Elle” on it so I underlined it 🙂
I added some indecipherable journalling in the asemic style.

Some white journalling and some white ink splatters.

More colouring and shading with the neocolours.

Hope you feel inspired to join in the challenge this month.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
