Hello creative friends,
Hope your week has been good and you have something fun planned for the weekend. Miss Lily is doing better today and she has finished her course of medication. I have another journal page to share, and this one completed my book!
today’s art . . .
…is another page completed in my journal and it is again for the Birds theme over on AJJ, I am happy to report that I have now completed every page in this journal and now I can start working on the cover and the binding!
I covered both pages with this napkin that I received from a friend – actually I received quite a few of them a couple of years ago and the funny thing was that she was just using them as padding for the gift that she sent, hoping they would prevent it from getting broken en route, and I was so excited about receiving all the beautiful napkins, of which there were probably about a dozen lol. So the napkins were like a second gift to me.
I used one napkin for this page, using all four bird images but positioning them so that they were looking in different directions. Once they were dry, I used some leftover black card – actually the leftovers from a sticker book, so they were also sticky – and some old Finnabair stickers, and that was all I needed for this page.
Hope you feel inspired to join in the challenge this month.
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

Love the napkins – I would have viewed them as a gift too. Lovely words to go with them as well, Elle. This book is going to be awesome all put together! Hugz
I had to smile at your napkin story. That is so true isn’t? And they are really pretty too and work so well on your page. Which is a beauty by the way. And they have such a great bird for Matilde’s challenge. Thanks for sharing. And hurrah for healthy kitties too. Have a great weekend too. Hugs-Erika
