Hello friends and Happy Friday!

Today I am Guest Designer over on the Creative Artiste Challenge blog where it is all mixed media all the time.

today’s art. . .

I’ve very happy to share these ATCs with you today as they are my Guest Designer project for Creative Artiste’s Challenge #90 this month!

My Guest Designer spot was booked in last year for today’s challenge which is the first one of the year since Creative Artiste take a break over Christmas.  So I actually worked on these ATCs before Christmas as I felt inspired by what was on my desk at the time and I was feeling very creative so I thought strike while the iron is hot and make them just in case I lose my mojo over Christmas (which did kind of happen as it turned out lol).  So the moral of this tale is don’t put off until tomorrow, what you can do today because you might lose your mojo tomorrow and then where you would you be!

I started with this scrap piece of previously watercoloured (Infusions) paper that I cut down into two ATCs.  I would have liked more but that was all I had.  Then I collected all the little bits and pieces and scraps of paper that were lying around on my desk and were potentially in a colour palette that would work together.  The gold and purple hearts are from old gel prints, the stamped faces are from a Lynne Perrella stamp set from Paperartsy.

There are some black and gold scraps of heat embossed diecuts on there, some teabag paper and tea tags, and some origami paper I thought I had lost, so that was a nice discovery!

I worked on them both at the same time, trying to keep them similar but different, ensuring that each cluster had one piece of everything.  I finished them off with a Tim Holtz quote sticker cut in half so one half could go on each ATC.

Creative Artiste is a Mixed Media challenge blog so I made sure to use lots of different mediums on my page.  The full list of what is used is at the bottom of the post along with the link to the challenges I have entered.

Hope you feel inspired to join in a challenge or three this month.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients
