Hi Friends!
As per my previous post, here is the card I mentioned. Due to linking restrictions with inlinkz I had to put the card on a separate post.
Today’s art . . .
Today I have two things to share with you. The first is this art journal page which can be found here. The second is a Halloween card I made from leftovers and a bit of recycling which I am sharing with Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge where their theme is “Spooky/Add Some Purple”. I am also sharing with Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge #109 and Try it on Tuesday’s Halloween challenge.
I used the rest of this piece of skull damask fabric I used on the journal page and some of the elements from these Halloween sweet packets.
This piece of Gina K green cardstock was just over 6 x 11 inches so it was just enough to turn into a 6 x 5.5 inch card. The “spooky” and “beetlejuice” words and the shrunken head guy are all from the sweet package. The BOO, bats and black skull (Sizzix dies) were leftovers from some of my other Halloween cards, and this small strip of purple tissue with bats on it, was also something I found in a box of stuff last week. So I decided to take all of that and the rest of the skull damask fabric and turn it into a Halloween card.
After I glued everything down, I added some purple and white splatters and that was it.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy Arting!Ingredients
Card: leftover green card, skull damask fabric, purple bat tissue paper, sweet packets, double sided tape, glue, leftover Sizzix diecuts from other projects, purple acrylic ink, bleedproof white ink, glitter card,

A suitably scary card Elle. The fabric skull is wonderful and works perfectly as a fabulous centrepiece with the delicate splashes of colour and added spooky details.
Thank you for joining in with our October challenge “Anything Mixed Media Goes” at Creative Artiste Mixed Media. Good luck! x
Nice car Elle. You have lots of different textures too, which really makes it interesting to look at. Have a super new week-hopefully not big storms. hugs-Erika
