Hi Friends!
Hope you are doing well today. I am on a roll and have another page to share today featuring Miss Lily because she is in the art room with me and she deserves a shout out for being such a brave and sweet kitty even when I was shoving medication down her throat on the daily… for weeks.
Today’s art . . .
This is the same little junk journal that I mentioned in my previous post, and here she is – the star of the show! The base is a page from a gardening book, and I layered up some leftover paper scraps on top. I also found this spare floral diecut and quickly painted it with the same Daniel Smith colours in my previous page.
Here she is “helping” me make decisions about my page. Actually I’m pretty sure she was telling me that breakfast was overdue! On the other side of this image is a page of Miss Lily photos I printed out on some Epson Glossy paper. This paper was from a sample pack that came from somewhere (?) I have no idea as I don’t have an Epson printer! It made really good prints so I might have to track it down and get some as there were only a couple of sheets in the sample pack.
Here’s another look at the finished page propped up on the window seat where there is good light at the moment. And here’s the blooper reel showing the reality of taking photos of journals when Miss Lily is around! She really knows how to get my attention one way or another lol.
This page is, of course, for Erika’s theme of Home Sweet Home on Art Journal Journey. This is our home sweet home, me and the kitty girl in the art room.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy journalling!Ingredients

Art Journal Journey – Home Sweet Home
Wow! I love these pages. You are on a roll.
That’s brave of your cat, Miss Lily, and the photos are so sweet—what magical eyes she has on your journal page!
It’s wonderful to see her home! Get well soon!
Have a good time, hugs, Elke
Miss Lily is the perfect subject for a Home Sweet Home Page. And I like how you added photos and that great little die cut too. I like how she is your art kitty and is fascinated by what you are doing. My cat Emmie used to come and see what I was doing too, but she didn’t sit on the table, usually by my feet. Now f the dogs come in I just trip over them when I get up to get supplies as the art room is small and there’s not a lot of floor space as I have so much “stuff”. Grin. Thank you again for joining in at AJJ. It is always appreciated. hugs-Erika
