Hi Friends!
Hope you are all doing well, we have a lovely sunny day today, and so Miss Lily was in her usual morning sunbathing spot on my art table, and kept me company again today.
Today’s art . . .
Today’s art is threefold, I made three journal pages yesterday that all feature birds and of course are intended for Erika’s theme of Spring Birds on Art Journal Journey. All three pages were made with digital printables which I assume are not AI but who knows anymore. I printed them out on matte photo paper and then didn’t know what to do with them for a few weeks, put them aside, and forgot about them. Then last week I was making some journals and re-discovered these pages and decided to use them.
Anyway, what you see here is the digital printable of the bird and the flowers, and then I went to town covering most of it up with a collage of some of my gel print scraps. I then added some stamping, mark making, washi tape, and splattery paint on top and finished it off with a couple of stamped sentiments.
I then did something similar with the pink bird printable – more gel print collage, more stamping this time in pink and black, splattery paint again and some of the same washi tape. I’ll be sad when I run out of this tape as it’s a discontinued one.
For the final page, I used this printable of the bird in the nest, and the accompanying tag version. For my collage I used some Distress Oxide scraps cut into squares, and some splatters in walnut, gold and olive.
T stands for . . .
For tea this week, I offer my favourite mug full of decaf coffee, and some breakfast avocado toast.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy T Day!Ingredients

T Stands for Tuesday – Today’s Tea post
Art Journal Journey – Spring Birds
Lovely pages. I particularly like the rust coloured/orange/gold one.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
These are fabulous pages Elle. I love the bright spring colors and the layering you did. And of course the birds. And your avocado toast looks delicious. I haven’t had sprouts for a long time and they would taste great. I hope you had a super T day and thank you for joining into AJJ with these lovely pages and for all your support this month. hugs-Erika
Miss Lily looks very relaxed. I would hate to be in the way of those claws .
Your digital bird and flower entries are lovely. They do NOT look AI to me. I adore the backgrounds you chose, too. Thanks for these three great entries using Erika’s theme at AJJ
Your avocado toast looks delicious. It is definitely making me hungry.. Thanks for sharing your art, Miss Lily, your breakfast, and your decaf coffee in your Cat Mum mug with us for T this Tuesday, dear Elle.
Three adorable pages! Really beautiful! Thank you for entering again our challenge at Art Journal Journey.

Beautiful pages. My favorite is the blue bird pages. Miss Lily looks very comfy, but get a load of those murder mittens! Happy T Day
Interesting art pages
How beautiful they all look, and so imaginative with the birds and the play of colors! I’m thrilled.
I would also like the delicious sandwich.
Your cat is so sweet, resting.
I wish you a lovely May, hugs Elke ( Lebensglück)
