Hi Friends!
Hope you are all doing well. Well no sooner than I posted on Friday about our lovely weather than it changed and now we got all the rain I think we didn’t get over the last month, all in one day! Rain started on Friday afternoon and hasn’t stopped since. This is also a Bank Holiday weekend here (Monday is a holiday) so it is typical wet, miserable weather for a Bank Holiday. The kitties are all so confused and disappointed.
They had developed a sunbathing routine and now Mr sunshine has gone away. Here’s another art journal spread I made on 10th of May, but due to the wonderful weather, have not been at the computer to upload and write about it until now.
Today’s art . . .
(Using MM EXPO Day 2 book)
I’ve been playing in the books I made during the Expo, and made this page using just a couple of stamps on top of the already painted background.
With these dragonflies and butterflies, I am linking up with Neet’s theme of It Must Have Wings.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy journalling!Ingredients
watercolour paper, watercolour paint, Finnabair and Tim Holtz stamps, Versafine clair ink, Posca pens

Art Journal Journey – It Must Have Wings
I also watched that video and wanted to make a page ;like it. Sadly, I didn’t have the right size paper. I will be incorporating some of the mark making when I create my ICADs. next month. Glad you will be p;laying. I plan to share mine every Sunday.
I love how you created the butterflies and dragonflies in this entry. They are perfect for Neet’s theme at AJJ.
I love the background and the big black swirl. Adding the wings brings this page from abstract to grounding it. I bet it was lovely without the wings too. But I love the wings you added. I can relate to the rain. We have some nice weather today after cold and rain. Hope you see the sun soon. Thanks for joining Neet’s challenge at AJJ. hugs-Erika
Your colorful pages with the dragonflies and the words are beautiful, a great idea!
