Hi Friends!
A short and sweet post today. Hope your December is going well so far. Have you been sending and receiving cards yet? I have sent six so far but I have only received one to date. Perhaps the price of stamps has really put people off sending them this year.
I had a lot of arty plans involving participation in various daily challenges but unfortunately have been struggling with an ocular migraine since Saturday, so I need to rest and also seriously limit my screen time, so I am now behind in all of them! If you’re wondering, yes I am still on crutches – I am so tired of saying that btw – but at least when I look back on these posts it will be a reminder of just how long this has gone on. I am joining the Tea ladies today so here is an old photo I discovered when looking for something entirely different! It’s -4C outside today so I am definitely in need of a little hygge.
Today’s art . . .
These are the only Christmas cards I have managed to make so far and they have been sent to my RL friends a few weeks ago, so I know they have been received and so safe to share. The cards are collaged and feature the old Retro TV die by Tim Holtz/Sizzix, but they are cards with a secret as you will see from the short video below.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and Happy journalling!Ingredients

Sorry to read you are still on crutches and you now have a migraine. I learned a new word: hygge. I had to look it up. I can understand why you need it! It’s also an amazing reference to T this week, too.
I adore your cards. I would send you one if I had your address. HINT. I really love the cats. And I love how each is the same,. yet different. Thanks for sharing your hygge and drink,as well as your cards with us for T this Tuesday,. dear Elle..
Those cards are so lovely! Just manged to finish mine, too. Hope you feel better soon and get off those crutches.
I hope you’re feeling better. Your cards are very cute and very clever! I didn’t see that coming. Well done, you. Happy T Day
It’s only 8 AM at my house as I write this but a little hygge would be good. And a cup of something warm too instead of my cold protein shake. Grin. Sorry to read you’ve heard those headaches, NOT FUN. Lovely cards too, and fun festive T day photos.I hope your week improves not just with the headache going away but in all other ways and you have a super T day. hugs-Erika
Ack. Glad or sad back when I had my arm “off” for over 6 months there was no internet. But I SO read you….Think a bit late here for Christmas cards.
When I´m over my “creative crisis” I´ll send cards just any time 🙂
Happy T-Day and well wishes to your health!
I suffered bad migraine over years > acupuncture was the solution….
